Jorge Trevino has worked in construction for almost 20 years. He started in residential drywall and interior/exterior painting. Many of the jobs were small residential remodeling projects. After several years of managing his own subcontracting company, Jorge decided to pursue a degree in Construction Management. Within a couple of years, he received a BS in Construction Management from the University of Houston. While attending the University of Houston, he started working for a renowned new homebuilder. During the next several years, Jorge worked in many well known communities such as Bridgeland, Harmony, and Oakhurst. This is where much of his experience in residential homebuilding was acquired. Afterwards, Jorge was approached by one of the leading commercial contractors in the world. Here, he would assist in managing the construction of several high profile projects in the Greater Houston area for Fortune 100 companies. The construction of a new high-tech elementary school in the Cy-Fair Independent School District was also a project where he managed the construction activities. From there, Jorge went on to work on many upscale commercial remodeling/ redevelopment projects located in downtown and uptown (Galleria) Houston. It has always been his plan to establish a construction company where his children can work and grow as professionals. With his eldest son already a structural engineer; his daughter following in her father’s foot steps as a Construction Manger; and his youngest son pursuing a degree in architecture, all of the pieces are there to one day be a leader in AEC services.
